Consistent updates are the best way for anyone measure progress on difficult non-linear tasks regardless of the interval. Otherwise, I've found things can feel like you're in a minimum or sloping down. These updates makes space to show all the parts that are continuing to evolve while also celebrating the highs and lows. No matter what, as long as you are periodically reflecting on your consistent work, you will be on an upward trajectory. Whether or not that trajectory or your velocity is enough to be 'successful' is a different story.
Where This Update Fits
I'm still sniffing around to observe demand before I overcommit to researchinng and learning to problem. I want to hear the demand from them first.
What Moved Forward
I've been locked into my 90 minute outbound blocks although have not burgeoned into cold calling. I feel like that will be more useful when I have knowledge enough to convince someone I know their problems. Right now, I just need to learn.
On Monday, I spent a solid chunk just finding people to message, but T -> Fr I locked in. I was significnatly underneath what Rob expects one to get day-to-day, but I'll improve over time (maybe that's worth tracking?).
No slack close outs. I think reflecting week to week is enough. I overfit to improve if I think too much.
What’s Still Open
I need to touch base with experts and that's proving to be slow. I've got a strong network and I think with the Holidays, I may not get solid traction until the New Year. If that's the case, spending a week focused on learning their system (project financing) would be useful.
There is not a ton of public data on RECs that's easy to collect so making an interconnection.fyi may be lost. Though I imagine I may need to go to every registries site myself and really comb through to find anything.
